US stocks opened lower across the board, while blockchain concept stocks showed mixed performance.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.19%, the S&P 500 fell 0.43%, and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.75%. Precious metal prices plummeted during the day, and mining stocks generally opened lower. Blockchain concept stocks showed mixed performance, with CRCL (Circle) rising about 1.7%; MSTR (Strategy) rising about 2%; and COIN (Coinbase) rising about 1%.
