London Stock Exchange Group launches digital clearing centre

The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has announced the launch of a new digital settlement service – the LSEG DiSH digital settlement platform. This open access platform enables programmatic instant settlement both on-chain and off-chain between independent payment networks. Through commercial bank deposits held in the DiSH ledger (DiSH Cash), the service will support 24/7 uninterrupted instant transfers of funds across multiple currencies and jurisdictions, providing cash security for foreign exchange and digital asset trading and settlement.
