American fast-food chain Steak 'n Shake announced it will reward its hourly employees with Bitcoin.

Starting March 1, 2026, all hourly employees at its directly operated stores will receive a Bitcoin reward equivalent to $0.21 per hour worked. The reward is backed by Fold and can be claimed after a two-year vesting period.
