Binance applied for a MiCA license in Greece as the EU deadline approached.

Binance has submitted its application for a license under the EU's Crypto Asset Markets Regulation (MiCA) to the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission in preparation for the upcoming compliance deadline. Previously, on January 13, the French financial market regulator added Binance to its list of 90 registered companies that had not yet obtained a MiCA license, informing these companies that they must obtain a license by the end of the transition period on June 30, or cease operations in July.
