MetaPlanet recorded a loss of approximately $679 million due to quarterly Bitcoin market capitalization volatility.

The company revised its earnings forecast upwards for fiscal year 2025, with revenue increasing from ¥6.8 billion to ¥8.905 billion and operating profit rising to ¥6.287 billion. However, due to the quarterly market value fluctuation of Bitcoin, the company recorded an assessment loss of ¥104.636 billion (approximately US$679 million), resulting in an ordinary loss of ¥98.558 billion.
