Accenture acquired Ookla, the parent company of speed test software Speedtest, for $1.2 billion.

CoinFeed reported on March 4th that, according to Reuters, Ziff Davis has agreed to sell its Connectivity division to Accenture for $1.2 billion in cash. This division includes Ookla's Speedtest app, Downdetector, Ekahau, and RootMetrics. Following the transaction, Ziff Davis will focus on vertical media such as IGN and Mashable, as well as businesses like Everyday Health. The Connectivity division is projected to generate approximately $231 million in revenue by 2025, representing about 16% of Ziff Davis's total revenue.
