Tether invests $50 million in Eight Sleep to expand its sleep technology and AI-powered health initiatives.

CoinFeed reported on March 4th that, according to CoinDesk, USDT issuer Tether has invested $50 million in sleep technology startup Eight Sleep, valuing the company at approximately $1.5 billion. Eight Sleep will develop new AI-powered health features based on Tether's QVAC architecture, enabling more data processing on the device side and reducing reliance on the cloud. Eight Sleep primarily manufactures sleep systems with built-in sensors; its Pod product can monitor physiological indicators such as heart rate and body temperature, automatically adjusting mattress temperature and generating sleep analysis.
