Cardano's ADA tokens are now available as a payment option at 137 Spar supermarkets in Switzerland.

CoinFeed reported on March 6th that, according to Decrypt, Cardano's native token ADA is now available as a payment option at 137 Spar supermarkets in Switzerland following its integration with the fiat currency deposit and withdrawal platform DFX.swiss. This integration utilizes DFX.swiss's crypto payment standard, Open Crypto Pay, which already supports payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins such as USDC, USDT, and DAI. Cardano users scan a QR code with their native wallet to directly pay with ADA at checkout. Merchants ultimately receive Swiss Francs, regardless of the cryptocurrency used by the customer.
