Tether CEO: Over 550 million users in emerging markets worldwide are using USDT.

CoinFeed reported on March 8th that Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that the largest single sender accounted for 4.97% of total USDT issuance over the past 12 months, lower than the 23.34% of other stablecoins. USDT serves those overlooked by the traditional financial system due to insufficient wealth. Currently, over 550 million users in emerging markets worldwide use USDT.
