Binance updates its referral program promotion policy, clarifying two types of violations.

CoinFeed reported on March 9th that, according to an official Binance announcement, starting from 11:00 AM (UTC+8) on March 9th, 2026, if Binance detects that referrals are being used to drive traffic or guide new user registrations through the following illegal advertising methods, Binance will automatically cancel all commissions for new users registered through such promotional channels: 1. Directing users through third-party websites or social media accounts that mimic Binance, including but not limited to: pages resembling the Binance website, excessive use of the Binance logo and/or related content; accounts impersonating Binance's official social media accounts; redirects from URLs similar to the Binance website domain; redirects from any other unofficial third-party URLs; 2. Advertising through search engines such as Google and Bing, or unauthorized third-party websites. To ensure transparency, details of commission cancellations will be displayed in the commission panel.
