CoinFeed reported on March 12 that Emil Michael, the U.S. Department of Defense's Chief Technology Officer, stated that following the raids on Maduro, an executive from Anthropic called Palantir, a prime contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense, to inquire whether their software had been used—classified information. Anthropic is attempting to redefine the meaning of "domestic surveillance," seeking to wrest this power from Congress. OpenAI received the same terms of service with combatant commands as Anthropic.
