CoinFeed reported on March 13th that the cryptocurrency exchange Gate officially launched Gate Pay for AI, a native payment infrastructure built specifically for AI Agents. This product combines the x402 protocol with a blockchain programmable settlement mechanism, enabling AI Agents to automatically complete fee settlements for API calls, data services, and transaction execution without human intervention. This truly automates the entire business process from "transaction decision-making" to "autonomous payment" for AI. In terms of technical architecture, Gate Pay for AI provides a standard MCP interface and Skills module, allowing integration with various AI Agent frameworks and enabling autonomous payment capabilities through Gate Wallet and on-chain infrastructure.
