CoinFeed reported on March 19th that, according to The Information, Coinbase is pushing its AI agent to use cryptocurrency for payments and is seeking a stablecoin partnership with Cloudflare. Given Cloudflare's key role in managing network traffic, a successful agreement would place the stablecoin at the heart of AI agent-driven traffic. Meanwhile, competition is heating up, with Stripe also launching its agent-based payment protocol yesterday.
