MoonPay launches Open Wallet Standard, a cross-chain open-source wallet standard for AI agents.

CoinFeed reported on March 23 that, according to The Block, cryptocurrency payment company MoonPay has open-sourced its cross-chain wallet infrastructure standard, Open Wallet Standard (OWS). This standard allows AI agents to hold assets, sign transactions, and initiate payments across multiple blockchains while avoiding the exposure of private keys. The standard is based on MoonPay Agents, a non-custodial software layer launched by MoonPay in February of this year, which allows AI systems to programmatically interact with wallets and execute transactions.
