The Samourai Wallet domain, which was previously seized by the FBI, is now under the control of scammers who are using it to steal Bitcoin.

CoinFeed reported on March 24th that, according to Cryptopolitan, the domain of Samourai Wallet, a Bitcoin wallet once known for its privacy features, has been seized by fraudsters after being blocked by the FBI in August 2025. The domain is now being used to host phishing websites that steal Bitcoin. Domain records show the website was registered through a privacy service, and the current owner is unknown. Several X platform users have reported the phishing website to the domain registrar NameCheap, requesting its closure, but have not yet received a response.
