CoinFeed reported on March 27th that, according to Cryptopolitan, Ripple is deploying AI-driven "red team testing" for its XRP Ledger, proactively discovering vulnerabilities through automated code reviews and adversarial simulations. The RippleX engineering lead stated that this move aims to shift from passive patching to system stress testing, with the red team simulating attacker behavior to explore how the codebase interacts under real-world conditions. The plan will focus on updating the core codebase to address structural issues such as inconsistent interaction patterns and limited type security.
