Aster adjusts the economic structure of the ASTER token, significantly reducing the monthly unlock size.

CoinFeed reported on March 30th that Aster announced a change to its previous monthly linear unlocking mechanism for the Ecosystem, replacing it with a "staking-only emission" model that distributes tokens solely through staking. This significantly reduces the number of ASTER tokens entering circulation each month. Previously, the Ecosystem unlocked 78.4 million ASTER tokens monthly (approximately 1% of the maximum supply). Under the new mechanism, only 450,000 ASTER tokens will be distributed as staking rewards per epoch (week), corresponding to approximately 1.8 million to 2.25 million ASTER tokens per month.
