Security agencies reported 46 security incidents in March, resulting in losses of approximately $39.8 million.
CoinFeed reported on April 3rd that blockchain security firm CertiK recorded 46 security incidents (excluding phishing attacks) in March 2026, resulting in approximately $39.8 million in losses, the highest monthly number of incidents since November 2024. CertiK data shows that from November 2024 to the end of 2025, the monthly number of incidents generally ranged from 22 to 44, dropping to a low point in the third quarter of 2025 before rebounding in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. The firm pointed out that the exploitation of code vulnerabilities has increased in the past two quarters, linking this trend to the potential increased attack efficiency due to the widespread adoption of AI tools, and reminding users and projects to strengthen their security measures.
