EdgeX has initiated a buyback and burn mechanism, with over 2.52 million Edge tokens already burned.

CoinFeed reported on April 3 that edgeX announced it has permanently burned approximately 2.5284 million EDGE tokens, which came from tokens previously acquired through a buyback. The project team stated that the burning of EDGE acquired through the buyback has officially begun, and will be carried out periodically every 24 hours, with the transaction hashes made public on-chain for querying.
