CoinFeed reported on April 5th, citing Bloomberg, that Indian AI startup Sarvam AI is close to completing a funding round of $300 million to $350 million, aiming to become a homegrown AI company and compete with industry leaders. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the company's valuation in this round is approximately $1.5 billion to $1.55 billion, and it is expected to close as early as next week. Bessemer Venture Partners is expected to lead the round, with participation from Nvidia, Amazon, and Prosperity7 Ventures.
