Following Telegram's announcement of its integration with Lighter, a Hyperliquid whale has already liquidated millions of dollars worth of HYPE long positions.

CoinFeed reported on April 7th that, according to Onchain Lens, a Hyperliquid whale acted swiftly after Telegram announced its integration with Lighter. This whale sold 12,200 $HYPE (approximately $449,100) today and placed sell orders for 10,400 $HYPE (approximately $386,000), while simultaneously withdrawing $1.26 million in USDC. Notably, this whale had previously closed out its multi-million dollar long positions in $HYPE after the announcement on April 3rd. To date, its cumulative profits have exceeded $1.72 million. Previously, it was reported that Telegram's in-app wallet, Wallet, launched perpetual contract trading functionality, powered by Lighter.
