Data: Anthropic's commercial adoption rate is rapidly climbing, approaching that of OpenAI.

CoinFeed reported on April 8th that Ramp's latest AI index shows that 47.6% of enterprises paid for AI services in February, with Anthropic's adoption rate rising to 24.4% and OpenAI's to 34.4%. Anthropic's adoption rate increased by 4.9 percentage points month-over-month, the largest monthly increase since the index's inception, while OpenAI's decreased by 1.5 percentage points, the largest monthly drop among all model companies. Ramp data also shows that among enterprises purchasing AI services for the first time, approximately 70% chose Anthropic over OpenAI. The report suggests that, given similar performance and price, enterprises are showing a clear preference for Anthropic based on brand and usage preferences.
