CoinFeed reported on April 9th ​​that, according to CCTV News, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy issued a statement on April 9th, stating that due to the recent fighting, anti-ship mines may exist in the main traffic area of ​​the Strait of Hormuz. Ships planning to pass through the strait should coordinate with the Revolutionary Guard Navy and follow the alternative routes it has set to avoid encountering mines. According to the map attached to the statement, the alternative routes require ships to enter and exit the Persian Gulf from the north and south sides of Lak Island in the northern part of the strait. On April 8th, the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization released a safe navigation map of the Strait of Hormuz, informing ships to adhere to navigational safety principles and avoid mines. The organization stated that from February 28th to April 8th, there has been ongoing fighting in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, and various types of anti-ship mines may exist in the main shipping lanes of the Strait of Hormuz.
