Coinbase and MarketVector launch COINSOV, a Bitcoin + Gold Store of Value index.

MarketVector Indexes, in partnership with Coinbase Asset Management, launched the Coinbase Store of Value Index (COINSOV), a rules-based framework that combines Bitcoin and gold to address the need for a store of value in environments of inflation and currency devaluation. The index dynamically adjusts the weighting of Bitcoin and gold based on "inverse volatility" and rebalances quarterly, aiming to capture Bitcoin's upside potential while keeping drawdowns close to levels seen in gold.
