The King of Bhutan sold $18 million worth of Bitcoin, bringing his total Bitcoin sales this year to approximately $180 million.

CoinFeed reported on April 11 that, according to Arkham monitoring, the Fifth King of Bhutan, Druk Gyalpo Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, sold $18 million worth of Bitcoin. So far this year, Bhutan has sold approximately $180 million worth of Bitcoin. According to CoinDesk, Bhutan has sold about 70% of its approximately 13,000 Bitcoins held in October 2024, reducing its Bitcoin holdings to 3,954, worth approximately $280.6 million.
