CoinFeed reported on April 12 that, according to Cailian Press, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that from the outset, no agreement should be expected to be reached in a single round of negotiations. Several new issues were added to the talks, such as the Strait of Hormuz and regional problems. Furthermore, the spokesperson stated that the Iran-US negotiations were held "after 40 days of imposed war, and in an atmosphere of distrust and suspicion." These negotiations were the longest in recent years, lasting a total of 24 to 25 hours. Contact and consultations between Iran, Pakistan, and other regional partners will continue.
