Tether CEO: Centralized AI has reached a dead end; we will promote local AI to practice the concept of crypto self-custody.

CoinFeed reported on April 12th that Paolo Ardoino, CEO of stablecoin issuer Tether, stated in an article on the X platform that "artificial intelligence should be as open as freedom." He believes that the development path of centralized artificial intelligence has reached a "dead end," and while large technology companies continue to build closed AI systems, Tether is moving in the opposite direction. The company will explore solutions for running AI models on local devices through QVAC, allowing users to have full control over their own data and computing power. This model is also more in line with the core of "self-custody" in the crypto industry, that is, users should have complete autonomy over their data and computing resources.
