US Senator: The Clarity Act needs to be passed as soon as possible to clarify the regulatory framework for the cryptocurrency industry.
CoinFeed reported on April 12th, citing Cointelegraph, that US Senator Cynthia Loomis has urged the swift passage of the CLARITY Act to clarify the regulatory framework for the cryptocurrency industry, stating that this is the last chance to pass the bill before 2030; otherwise, the US may have to wait nearly four more years to promote the development of the crypto industry. Former White House AI and cryptocurrency czar David Sachs, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, and many others have voiced their support for the bill, while industry institutions and individuals such as A16z Crypto, Coinbase, and Immutable have also expressed their anticipation. Coinbase's Chief Legal Officer revealed that the bill may soon enter the Senate Banking Committee for review, but the disagreement over stablecoin yields remains a key factor in its progress.
