CoinFeed reported on April 12th, citing the FT, that Robinhood has proactively excluded some prediction market products due to concerns about market manipulation and insider trading risks. The company is highly focused on market manipulation issues when developing this business and will not offer all types of event contracts to users. Recent incidents of "accurate betting" have drawn significant regulatory attention; furthermore, "mention markets" (such as betting on specific words appearing in public speeches) are also explicitly excluded by Robinhood due to their susceptibility to manipulation. Currently, Robinhood primarily provides compliant prediction market services through partnerships with Kalshi and ForecastEx.
