Negotiations on the CLARITY bill are nearing completion with only a few contentious clauses remaining.

CoinFeed reported on April 16th that, according to CoinDesk, negotiations in the US Congress regarding the "CLARITY Act" (crypto legislation) have only about two or three outstanding issues remaining. A Senate staffer described the draft bill as "very close" to completion in a JPMorgan report. Market participants expect that if the remaining contentious clauses are agreed upon without additional "piggybacking" clauses, the CLARITY Act could have a substantial impact on the US crypto asset regulatory framework and related market expectations in the coming quarter.
