Yuga Labs appoints new CEO; former CEO Greg Solano becomes Chairman of the Board.

CoinFeed reported on April 17th that, according to The Block, Yuga Labs, the developer of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT series, announced management changes. CEO Greg Solano will become Chairman of the Board, and Michael Figge will succeed him as CEO. Figge joined the company in 2021, previously serving as Chief Product Officer, and has been CEO for several weeks. Solano stated that Figge excels in product quality and long-term thinking, as evidenced by his work on the metaverse project Otherside over the past year. Solano assumed the position in February 2024 after the departure of former CEO Daniel Alegre, a period of approximately two years.
