The US and Iran are discussing plans to end the war.

CoinFeed reported on April 17 that, according to US media citing two US officials and two sources familiar with the negotiations, the US and Iran are communicating on a plan aimed at ending the war. One key issue is that the US will unfreeze $20 billion in Iranian funds in exchange for Iran relinquishing its stockpile of enriched uranium. The report also cited another source familiar with the mediation efforts as saying that the talks are expected to take place this Sunday in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
