CoinFeed reported on April 17 that, citing a source familiar with the matter, Iran has set three conditions for vessel passage through the Strait of Hormuz: First, only merchant ships can pass; military vessels are prohibited, and neither the ships nor their cargo can be associated with hostile countries. Second, ships must use waterways designated by Iran. Third, passage must be coordinated with the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy. The source also stated that if the United States continues its maritime blockade, Iran will consider it a violation of the ceasefire agreement and close the Strait of Hormuz.
