Charles Schwab and Citadel Securities are considering entering the prediction market.

CoinFeed reported on April 19th, citing Cointelegraph, that traditional financial giants Charles Schwab and Citadel Securities are both considering entering the prediction market. Charles Schwab CEO Rick Wurster stated in a conference call, "I think at some point, we'll likely launch a prediction market." He added that when he recently asked a group of Schwab clients about their opinions on prediction markets, they weren't "very interested," but the company would "seriously look into" the area, and "offering prediction market services would be quite easy for us." Meanwhile, the president of Citadel Securities stated at the Semafor conference in Washington, D.C., that the company would "absolutely be watching" the developments in the prediction market very closely.
