MicroBit and HashKey, together with several industry OGs, donated a Satoshi Nakamoto statue in Hong Kong.
CoinFeed reported on April 20th that MicroBit, HashKey, and several early OGs in the industry jointly donated a Satoshi Nakamoto statue to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to express their gratitude for Hong Kong's friendly regulatory environment and to support its brand image as a "Web3 Capital." The original statue was created by Italian artist Valentina Picozzi and has previously been erected in Lugano, Switzerland (2024), Tokyo, Japan (2025), and New York, USA (2025). The Hong Kong version donated is made of 304 stainless steel and weathering steel, with a volume of approximately one cubic meter. The base is engraved with "To Hong Kong — In Math We Trust" and donation information. The statue is depicted in profile as a cross-legged figure in deep thought, with a notebook resting on his lap. When viewed from the front, it is almost invisible, symbolizing Satoshi Nakamoto's retirement and the continuation of his legacy through the community.
