CoinFeed reported on April 21 that, according to a post by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, in addition to monitoring the "whale/institution that spent $500 million to buy BTC and ETH in early February" transferring its last 2,000 cbBTC to Coinbase, it also sold its deposit certificates (aEthWETH) directly for ETH via Swap in the early morning to retrieve its 17,400 ETH stored on Aave, losing 310 ETH ($720,000), a discount of approximately 1.8%. It then transferred the retrieved ETH to Spark. Since Aave currently still suspends WETH withdrawals, there are two ways to withdraw ETH from Aave: exchange it for other assets (such as wstETH), or Swap the deposit certificates (aEthWETH) for ETH, but the latter will involve a discount.
