CoinFeed reported on April 21 that the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government issued a notice on the "Implementation Plan for the National Digital Economy Innovation and Development Pilot Zone (Shanghai)." The notice emphasizes strengthening the high-quality supply of public data resources, relying on technologies such as blockchain and privacy computing to build infrastructure for the development and utilization of public data, and establishing mechanisms for on-chain storage of key elements and data traceability. It also calls for strengthening blockchain network capabilities. Specifically, it emphasizes the in-depth promotion of the construction of the National Blockchain Network (Shanghai Hub), strengthening basic capabilities such as distributed digital identity, privacy computing, and cross-chain services; promoting the construction of on-chain trusted data service centers for customs, taxation, maritime affairs, and foreign exchange management, accessing key data resources from national ministries and commissions, and improving industry regulatory efficiency. Finally, it outlines the implementation of the national trusted data space pilot task, applying blockchain technology to create a Shanghai solution.
