CoinFeed reported on April 22 that Coinbase Markets announced on its X platform that perpetual contract trading for gold (GOLD) and silver (SILVER) will launch on April 22, 2026. The GOLD-PERP and SILVER-PERP markets will open for trading in regions where liquidity conditions are met and local regulations are supportive.
