At least six senior marketing executives from Coinbase have jumped ship to OpenAI in the past year and a half.

CoinFeed reported on April 23 that, according to CoinDesk, at least six senior marketing executives from Coinbase have jumped ship to OpenAI in the past year and a half. These include former Chief Marketing Officer Kate Rouch (who spent three and a half years at Coinbase and over 11 years at Meta), Senior Director of Integrated Marketing Sarah Russell, Head of International Marketing Elke Karstens, Head of Integrated Marketing Management Kaitlin Gianetti, Head of Brand Insights Amy Robbins, and Head of Marketing Strategy and Operations Nina Mogavero. Additionally, former VP of International Policy at Coinbase, Tom Duff Gordon, joined OpenAI earlier this month as Head of Policy for EMEA.
