The spokesperson emphasized that the nature of the recent negotiations has fundamentally changed, with the core issue no longer being the nuclear issue, but rather the complete end of the war. The spokesperson stated that Ghalibaf possesses practical experience from the Iran-Iraq War and has extensive experience in multiple fields. As Speaker of Parliament, he can effectively coordinate various domestic forces and enjoys the trust of various political factions. The Iranian side believes that Ghalibaf's partnership with Araghchi, who also has a war background, is an efficient diplomatic combination capable of coordinating the overall situation. The spokesperson clearly pointed out that the nuclear issue is no longer the main focus; the current negotiation focus is on a complete ceasefire, and the primary task is to safeguard the country's core interests.
