JPMorgan executive: Tokenization will transform ETFs and the entire fund industry, but it will be years before good use cases emerge.

CoinFeed reported on April 26th, citing The Block, that Ciarán Fitzpatrick, Global Head of ETF Products at JPMorgan Securities Services, stated, "We believe tokenization will definitely drive market change, not only for ETFs but for the entire fund industry." Fitzpatrick pointed out that given the numerous benefits tokenization can offer, such as easier creation and redemption, "near-instant settlement," and uninterrupted access, experimentation with ETF tokenization is still ongoing. He added, "I think tokenization will become part of the ETF ecosystem, but it's still a few years before we see some truly good use cases."
