CoinFeed reported on April 27 that, according to the Ministry of Finance's official website, Moody's maintained China's sovereign credit rating at "A1" and revised its outlook to "stable." A relevant official from the Ministry of Finance stated that this decision reflects Moody's recognition of the resilience of China's macroeconomy and fiscal strength, as well as its momentum for high-quality economic development. Over the past five years, China's GDP has increased by more than 35 trillion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 5.4% during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, contributing approximately 30% to global economic growth. China's GDP is projected to grow by 5% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026. The Ministry of Finance stated that China will continue to promote economic restructuring and enhance fiscal sustainability through macro-control and comprehensive deepening of reforms, and will maintain ongoing communication with Moody's.
