CoinFeed reported on April 28 that, according to the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), the "Jianying" and "Maoxiang" apps and the "Jimeng AI" website recently discovered that they had failed to effectively implement regulations on the labeling of artificial intelligence-generated and synthesized content, violating the Cybersecurity Law, the Interim Measures for the Administration of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services, and the Measures for the Labeling of Artificial Intelligence-Generated and Synthetic Content. The CAC has instructed local cyberspace administrations to take measures against the relevant platforms, including interviews, orders to rectify, warnings, and strict punishment of responsible persons. A CAC official emphasized that website platforms must strictly implement the requirements for labeling generated and synthesized content, and the cyberspace administration will continue to strengthen relevant supervision and management to safeguard the public interest and promote the compliant development of artificial intelligence.
