Chiliz expands its fan tokens to the Solana and Base networks.

CoinFeed reported on April 29th that, according to CoinDesk, sports blockchain platform Chiliz is expanding its more than 70 fan tokens to the Solana and Base networks, adopting a "full-chain fungible token" standard. This standard ensures a unified supply of fan tokens across all supported chains, eliminating issues of token encapsulation and liquidity fragmentation. Chiliz launched its own Layer 1 network for token trading in 2023 and is now transitioning to a "full-chain distribution" model. Chiliz hopes this expansion will significantly increase the trading volume of its fan tokens before this summer's World Cup. Tokens for the Argentina and Portugal national teams have already been launched, with more expected to be announced in June.
