Coinbase will cease trading in Dai (DAI) on May 4th. Unclaimed Dai will be converted to USDS at a 1:1 ratio.

CoinFeed reported on April 30th that, according to an official announcement, Coinbase will cease Dai (DAI) trading on its official website and mobile application on May 4th, 2026, and will suspend Dai sending and receiving functions from May 4th to 6th. Dai remaining on the platform after May 4th will be automatically converted to USDS at a 1:1 ratio. Users who do not wish their Dai to be converted should transfer it to a compatible self-custodied wallet before May 4th.
