Gemini obtains a derivatives clearing license from the U.S. CFTC, advancing its full-license strategy.

CoinFeed reported on April 30 that, according to The Block, Gemini's Olympus has been granted a Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO) license by the U.S. CFTC. This license allows Olympus to provide proprietary clearing, settlement, risk management, and escrow services for prediction markets, futures, options, and perpetual contracts on its Titan platform, reducing reliance on third-party clearing and lowering costs.
