CoinFeed reported on May 1st that Wasabi Protocol issued an update regarding yesterday's security incident, stating that the Wasabi Solana contract is secure and unaffected by the attack, and the vulnerability is limited to the Wasabi EVM deployment. The team is working with security teams and has contacted law enforcement and the FBI. Previously, PeckShield reported yesterday that Wasabi Protocol was suspected of having its administrator's private key compromised, resulting in approximately $5.5 million in losses across multiple chains.
