CoinFeed reported on May 1st that, according to SpaceX's IPO registration documents, the company plans to launch its first batch of next-generation, more powerful Starlink V3 satellites in the second half of 2026. With the debut of the upgraded prototype approaching, SpaceX's spending on the Starship project has exceeded $15 billion. In 2025, the company's R&D spending in the space sector is projected at $3 billion, all of which will be allocated to the Starship project.
