CoinDesk poll: Only 1% of US voters list cryptocurrency as a top issue in the midterm elections

CoinFeed reported on May 3rd that a survey of 1,000 registered U.S. voters commissioned by CoinDesk revealed that only 1% of respondents listed cryptocurrency as the most important issue in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, ranking it near the bottom of all concerns. In contrast, the cost of living (36%), jobs and the economy (13%), and Social Security and Medicare (11%) were the most pressing concerns for voters. The survey also showed that U.S. voters generally hold a negative view of cryptocurrency, with only 27% of respondents saying they had invested in, traded, or used cryptocurrency, and another 27% saying they might participate in the future.
