CoinFeed reported on May 5th that Mustafa Al-Bassam, Head of Growth at Polymarket, hinted in response to community questions on the X platform that the POLY token may be launched soon. Previously, a user asked, "When can we stake POLY to reduce taker fees/future maker fees?", to which Mustafa replied, "Soon." Furthermore, regarding the tiered taker rebate feature that the community is interested in, Mustafa stated that this feature is "coming soon." Previously, community users noted that Polymarket had stated on Discord that it would launch a tiered taker rebate mechanism in April, meaning that the higher a user's trading volume, the higher their tier, and the lower their fees.
